NBA legend Scottie Pippen’s anticipated “Satoshi Nakamoto Dream” fails to generate Bitcoin figures on Election Day
Scottie Pippen’s “dream meeting” with Bitcoin founder Satoshi Nakamoto failed as the main cryptocurrency climbed to nothing on election day.
Pippen, who is widely recognized as one of the finest players in NBA history, is a prominent advocate for Bitcoin and actively utilizes his social media presence to promote the cryptocurrency.
He previously recounted a dream that stimulated the Bitcoin community in September. Pippen stated that the pseudonymous Satoshi appeared in his dreams and predicted that the highest cryptocurrency would reach $84,650 on Nov. 5, the day of the elections.
In the end, Bitcoin experienced a significant increase in value following Donald Trump’s victory, but it failed to meet “Satoshi’s projection.” Despite reaching a peak of $76,460, the apex cryptocurrency’s rally was unsuccessful.
The iconic athlete has not immediately responded to Benzinga’s request for additional information, and there is a lack of clarity regarding his Bitcoin or cryptocurrency holdings.
Market expectations have only increased, and price predictions for Bitcoin were in full motion prior to the election.
Standard Chartered, a global investment bank, had previously predicted that Bitcoin would reach $125,000 in the event of a prospective Trump victory. Bernstein, a brokerage firm, predicted that the dominant cryptocurrency would reach $80,000 to $90,000 by the end of Q4 if Trump were to emerge victorious.
