Eric Trump, the son of President-elect Donald Trump, will deliver the keynote address at the Gulf region’s largest Bitcoin conference, which commenced on Monday.

A whale-only lounge is expected to be featured at the Bitcoin MENA conference on December 9-10, 2024, which is expected to attract over 6,000 attendees. Also present at the Abu Dhabi event will be several of Trump’s nominees, including Steve Witkoff.

Witkoff, who founded World Liberty Financial in September, is the new White House envoy for the Middle East. The principal crypto advocates and ambassadors of Donald Trump’s crypto initiative are his sons, Barron, Don Jr., and Eric.

The other speakers at the conference, such as Justin Sun, the founder of Tron, are also closely associated with World Liberty Financial. Sun, who was previously under investigation for crypto-related misconduct during the Biden administration, recently disclosed on X that he acquired $30 million in WLF tokens, thereby becoming the project’s largest investor.

Marshall Beard, the chief operating officer of Gemini, stated that the conference is intended to unite the industry.

Beard observed, “It has been truly remarkable to witness the conference’s expansion in conjunction with the rise of Bitcoin.” “In this year’s presidential election, cryptocurrency emerged as a significant campaign issue.”

The attendance of Trump’s family and allies at the Gulf conference is consistent with the promises that Trump made before winning his elections. He pledged to establish America as the new “crypto capital” and serve as the crypto president.

The presence of Eric Trump at Bitcoin MENA 2024 is a significant milestone, as it brings an abundance of business acumen to the region. As stated in the official release, his participation would garner significant attention from industry leaders.
