Mi Primer Bitcoin’s new diploma program will extend Bitcoin education options in high schools that embrace it.
According to Dalia Platt, Mi Primer Bitcoin’s director of curriculum, “the goal is to transform the way people learn about Bitcoin. The objective is to make the course dynamic, entertaining, innovative, accessible, and simple to comprehend for everyone by presenting examples that may reach and affect every part of the globe.”
The student notebook sent to Bitcoin Magazine includes themes such as “What is Money?” and “Managing Scarcity in a Growing Economy,” among others.
Platt claims that the firm has seen exponential expansion. This year, we have educated over 10,000 kids, which is 25 times more than the previous year, she stated. Being the first country to adopt Bitcoin, El Salvador has the unique chance to pioneer Bitcoin education.
The initiative, which was initially mentioned by Bitcoin Magazine in June 2022, began with over 35 high school students obtaining Bitcoin degrees. Since then, Mi Primer Bitcoin’s instructional purpose has not altered. Platt explains that she “believes that our new Diploma Program has already played a key contribution in accomplishing [leading Bitcoin education]” and that “we are continuously improving the course by combining the input we get from current and former students as well as the professors.”
Bitcoin education is a crucial component of its global acceptance. Without enough understanding of the existing functioning of the world’s monetary systems and the revolutionary protocol that Bitcoin provides, one cannot appropriately decide to use Bitcoin. Bitcoin’s full potential is revealed only after a thorough understanding of money as it is and as it might be. This education and learning are provided through programs like Mi Primer Bitcoin in order to realise this potential.
