Following his acquisition of Twitter and subsequent departure from Twitter’s employees, Musk is now the company’s only director.
Elon Musk is the one in control right now. Following the completion of his acquisition of the massive social media platform, he replaced all of the previous directors of Twitter with himself to become the company’s only director.
According to a filing with the United States Securities and Exchange Commission that details the terms of the material agreement for the $44 billion deal, former directors Bret Taylor, Parag Agrawal, Omid Kordestani, David Rosenblatt, Martha Lane Fox, Patrick Pichette, Egon Durban, Fei-Fei Li, and Mimi Alemayehou were fired when Musk took over the company.
Binance provided a partial investment in the amount of $500 million to Elon Musk, who is notorious for attempting to back out of the transaction before it was signed.
It has been claimed that a number of significant advertisers, including Ford and GM, have said that they would stop advertising while they evaluate the path that Twitter goes under Musk’s leadership.
