In addition to other assets, the HNT coin will be transferred to the new network.

In a 17 February blog post, Helium Network [HNT] announced that its migration to the Solana [SOL] network will commence on 27 March. As a consequence, all wallets, Hotspots, and the condition of the Helium Network at the time of publication will be updated. On that day, a 24-hour period of transition time will begin at around 15:00 UTC / 10:00 AM ET.

The shift to Solana was made possible by the community’s success with HIP-70 in 2022 and the development of other solutions to Helium network scalability. In addition, shifting Proof-of-Coverage and Data Transfer processing to Oracles in conjunction with the migration to the Solana blockchain frees up substantial resources for scalability.

The price change of HNT demonstrates that there was a robust reaction to the recent remark. On of 17 February’s market closure, the token’s value climbed by 10.78%. This was the second-highest increase for the month of February and the third-highest growth for the whole year. At the time of writing, the price was around $2.80, a 0.5% increase.

Yet, the price volume responded differently. According to Santiment’s volume data, the measure has not seen a notable increase. The volume has been low for some time, at 5.91 million at the time of publication.
