CollectTrumpCards, the official Twitter account for Donald Trump’s non-fungible tokens, recently tweeted that the contender for US president intends to provide access to an exclusive collection of NFTs created as Bitcoin Ordinals.
Only 99 of these rare NFTs are left for sale, according to CollectTrumpCards. You may buy them on their website using Wrapped Ether (WETH).
This NFT, including the “Mugshot Edition,” is just for collecting reasons, the business said; it is neither a political statement nor an investment opportunity. Additionally, until December 31, 2024, no Mugshot NFTs may be traded.
Featuring a snapshot from Trump’s arrest in late August, the “Mugshot Edition” takes a novel approach to covering Trump’s life and career. In addition to giving fans a look into these private occasions, this collection also gives them special possibilities. With the purchase of 47 Trump cards, buyers will be entered into a raffle for a chance to dine at Mar-a-Lago with the president and get an artifact from his arrest suit. It is possible that Trump himself may sign some of these NFTs.
Trump debuted two previous NFT collections before the Mugshot NFTs, all of which were huge successes and brought in a ton of money. Citizens for Responsibility and Ethics, a Washington-based legal advocacy organization, estimated that Trump’s $5 million worth of Ethereum assets were mostly acquired via these NFT purchases.
