Scottie Pippen, a former basketball player in the United States, has elicited a positive response from his 670,400 followers on the X social media platform (formerly known as Twitter) with a statement regarding Bitcoin, the world’s first cryptocurrency.
In it, he referenced the enigmatic founder of Bitcoin, Satoshi Nakamoto. Numerous prominent Bitcoin enthusiasts responded to him in the comments section.
The former NBA player’s statement was a straightforward, one-line tweet that read, “Bullish on Bitcoin.” Additionally, he implemented the hashtag #BeLikeSatoshi. Additionally, he has previously referenced the enigmatic BTC creator in his tweets.
Some individuals even enquired about Pippen’s perspective on popular altcoins, including NEIRO. Michael Saylor, the cofounder of the largest corporate BTC holder MicroStrategy and Bitcoin permabull, visited CNBC’s Squawk Box program earlier this week to engage in a conversation about Bitcoin and to discuss a variety of its aspects with the team of presenters.
In particular, Saylor stated that MicroStrategy is presently outperforming all other companies in the S&P 500 index as a result of the Bitcoin strategy of issuing convertible notes and selling them to investors in order to purchase additional BTC.
Saylor emphasised that this approach allows investors to indirectly own BTC and circumvent the challenges associated with holding the digital currency. They receive negligible interest on their convertible notes.
It is of greater significance that Saylor provided a long-term Bitcoin price forecast, asserting that BTC would experience a significant increase in value, reaching as much as $13 million per coin, within the next two decades. Saylor clarified that this would occur, as Bitcoin would have absorbed 7% of the global money mass in circulation share by that time, a significant difference from the current 0.1% it holds.
Pippen subsequently responded to Saylor’s tweet by enquiring as to whether he had encountered Satoshi Nakamoto in his dream and obtained the price information directly from him.
Scottie Pippen’s previous tweet stated that the Bitcoin creator visited him in a dream to predict that the largest cryptocurrency would rise to $84,650 on Nov. 5. This “Satoshi-dream” event occurred in response to this tweet.
