Hundreds of thousands of dollars have been traded by four elderly Dogecoin (DOGE) whales since the beginning of 2023. These whales had all been dormant for at least nine years before undertaking their latest migrations.

Taking into consideration the price of Dogecoin on each day of the documented activity, the total value of the DOGE transferred from these four prehistoric whales comes to $557,157. Finbold gathered information from the Whale Alert Twitter (X) account and the Dogecoin Blockchain.

The old Dogecoin whales of April and June are still behind by 74,257 DOGE ($5,500) and 1,000,000 DOGE ($74,120), respectively. The whales that visited in February and May did not leave any remnants.

Perhaps DOGE was influenced by the ancient whales’ migrations since all four transactions occurred on days with negative price performance (red days) in which the daily price ended below the starting price.

DOGE has lost 0.88% of its value in the previous 24 hours, trading at $0.07407 at the time of writing. With a market valuation of $10.37 billion and a growth of 3% over the last 30 days, Dogecoin is now placed seventh.
