Los Angeles diner Dr. Bombay’s Sweet Exploration plans to employ the rapper’s Bored Ape Yacht Club image as the centrepiece of the establishment.

Bored & Hungry, the first fast-food restaurant based on a Bored Ape Yacht Club NFT, launched this spring in Los Angeles. Snoop Dogg, a musician and NFT lover, is joining the team behind that diner to launch its next NFT-themed restaurant.

Similarly, Snoop Dogg and Food Fighters Universe, a firm created by Andy Nguyen, Kevin Seo, and Phillip Huynh, have revealed intentions to launch Dr. Bombay’s Sweet Exploration in Los Angeles.

Snoop has given his Bored Ape Yacht Club avatar the moniker Dr. Bombay. One of Ethereum’s most popular NFT collections, the Bored Ape Yacht Club has 10,000 different avatars of bored cartoon apes. More than $2.1 billion has been traded in the secondary market as a result of the NFTs thus far.

As part of the Bored Ape Yacht Club, a firm founded by Yuga Labs, NFT holders are granted the ability to sell their photographs. Thus, Bored Apes has been utilised in a wide range of items, from clothing to beer and marijuana packaging to virtual band ventures and prospective film and television productions.

While Snoop’s dessert restaurant is not an “official” Bored Ape restaurant, it is perfectly legal for the rapper to utilise the NFT image he owns for it. If you have a digital picture of a gorilla as your NFT, you’ll have access to the community of owners, as well as commercial rights and other benefits.
