Solana ($SOL) Combines ChatGPT Plugin with Artificial Intelligence to Make Blockchain More “Usable and Understandable”
The Solana Foundation, a nonprofit organisation focused on advancing the Solana blockchain, has announced that it has implemented AI by means of a ChatGPT plugin created by Solana Labs.
As reported by Cointelegraph, the Solana team has announced that the ChatGPT plugin, which intends to make it easier to comprehend Solana data and its protocol, is freely available for download on GitHub. Solana’s computational infrastructure and DeFi (decentralized finance) program may be better understood with the help of this plugin.
Currently, the plugin may be used for the following on the Solana network: purchasing NFTs, transferring tokens, evaluating transactions, analysing data from public accounts, and finding groups of NFTs with a certain floor price.
The Solana Foundation has increased its grant funding for research into the integration of the Solana blockchain and artificial intelligence from $1 million to $10 million, demonstrating a significant rise in its dedication to this area of inquiry.
The creators of the program said that fifty people had applied for the rolling awards. A three-month accelerator program tailored to college students who are interested in exploring blockchain and AI has also been developed by the charity.
Earlier this month, Solana Labs introduced the Saga, a smartphone designed with cryptocurrencies in mind. The Saga is an Android smartphone with a 6.67-inch OLED screen, fingerprint sensor, 512 GB of storage, and two interchangeable back cameras that retail for $1,000 and was developed in tandem with OSOM, a Bay Area firm.
Solana claims that the Saga’s unique selling proposition is its “Solana Mobile Stack” (SMS), a suite of custom add-ons that work together to incorporate Bitcoin capabilities into the phone’s hardware and software.
The Saga also has a specialized cryptocurrency-only “dapp” shop. Over a dozen applications are available to users at launch, lasting cryptocurrency trading, wallet messaging, music, and digital collectables, with more on the way.
According to a study analysis on blockchain/crypto developers, Solana had the fastest rate of increase (83%) of ecosystem developer count in 2022 among blockchain ecosystems with 1000+ total developers, as stated by CryptoGlobe.
