The Founder of SkyBridge Capital Declares That the Next Generation of Presidential Candidates Will Be Crypto-Friendly
Former White House Director of Communications Anthony Scaramucci, founder and managing partner of global alternative investment company SkyBridge Capital (“SkyBridge”), predicts that both presidential contenders in the United States in 2024 would favour cryptocurrency.
Scaramucci predicted in an interview with Crypto Banter that the White House would grow more sympathetic to cryptocurrency, culminating in two pro-crypto candidates running in the 2020 presidential election.
Scaramucci, who served as White House Director of Communications during the Trump Administration, emphasised Treasury Secretary Janet Yellen’s remarks that crypto is gradually becoming a part of American financial life.
Scaramucci said, as published by The Daily Hodl: To summarise, follow the money since there is a water-wall of money entering Washington from various organisations and lobbying groups. On your podcast, I’ll make a prediction that the final two presidential contenders in 2024 will be pro-crypto, pro-blockchain. Pursue the money.
Scaramucci said that former crypto sceptics were warming to digital assets in the aftermath of President Joe Biden’s recent Infrastructure Bill. Scaramucci stated that the White House and US legislators are under pressure to service their crypto-holding constituents.
This is a decentralised lobbying organisation or ‘DLO.’ 73 million people descend on these individuals, addressing them. That is the way Washington operates.
Scaramucci compared the political reaction to cryptocurrency to Uber, noting that authorities initially opposed the ride-sharing service’s approval. However, as a result of the movement’s enormous popularity, politicians started to modify their positions in favour of it, so reacting to the “desire of the people.”
