With the help of Google’s AI technologies, which have been incorporated into Hiber3D, artists can now just write in their visual wishes and have an immersive environment generated for them.
Some gaming studios are investing in AI to streamline and reduce the cost of the development cycle. Startup Hiber, which wants to streamline the process of making in-game content, recently announced the incorporation of Google’s generative AI technology into its Hiber3D development platform at Google Cloud Next in San Francisco.
Hiber said that the integration of AI is geared toward assisting developers in creating broad metaverse platforms. The business’s HiberWorld virtual platform runs on Hiber3D technology, and the company claims that it hosts more than 5 million user-created worlds on its no-code-required platform.
Hiber’s CEO Michael Yngfors claims that artists may use natural language to tell the Hiber3D generator what type of worlds they want to build and that they can even develop worlds depending on their mood or to match the feel of a film by entering prompts using the company’s new generative AI tool.
Hiber, founded in 2017 and headquartered in Gothenburg, Sweden, provides a set of tools for creating interactive virtual environments. In July, Tommy Hilfiger debuted the Tommy Parallel metaverse experience on HiberWorld, providing a platform for fashion designers to showcase their work in a virtual 3D space.
