Binance, a major cryptocurrency exchange, has chosen to delist four assets: AMB, CLV, STMX, and VITE. According to the exchange, these tokens no longer match Binance’s listing criteria, resulting in the withdrawal of linked trading pairs from its platform.
Binance conducts frequent assessments of the digital assets it lists to ensure that they continue to meet high standards and industry requirements. When a coin or token no longer meets these requirements, or the industry landscape changes, it undergoes a more thorough assessment and may be delisting. Its top objective is to provide the greatest services and safeguards for its consumers while also adapting to changing market conditions.
Based on its most recent evaluations, Binance has decided to delist and discontinue trading on all spot trading pairs for AirDAO (AMB), CLV (CLV), StormX (STMX), and VITE (VITE) on February 24 at 3:00 a.m. (UTC).
The following trading pairs are being removed: AMB/USDT, CLV/BTC, CLV/USDT, STMX/TRY, STMX/USDT, and VITE/USDT. According to Binance, all trade orders in the trading pairs will be immediately erased after trading has ended.
Users’ accounts will not be credited with deposits of AMB, CLV, STMX, and VITE that were made after 3:00 a.m. (UTC) on February 25. However, users may convert delisted tokens into stablecoins on their behalf. Binance will no longer enable withdrawals of these tokens after February 24 at 3:00 a.m. (UTC); Binance Gift Card will delist the tokens, and Binance will suspend trading bot services for the spot trading pairings. On the same day, at 2:00 a.m. UTC, Binance Convert will delist the tokens and their related pairings.
Binance Simple Earn will delist the tokens after 3:00 a.m. (UTC) on February 21, while Binance Futures will terminate all positions and perform an automated settlement on the AMBUSDT and STMXUSDT perpetual contracts on the same day at 9:00 a.m. (UTC). Beginning February 21 at 8:30 a.m. (UTC), users will be unable to establish new contract employment.
On February 20 at 5:30 a.m. (UTC), the Binance Funding Rate Arbitrage Bot will end all arbitrage strategies and perform an automated settlement on the AMBUSDT and STMXUSDT symbols. On this day, at 3:00 a.m. UTC, VIP Loan’s AMB, CLV, and STMX will end all existing loan positions as loanable and collateral tokens, while Binance Buy & Sell Crypto and Binance Pay will delist them. Binance Margin will remove AMB, CLV, STMX, and VITE from Cross and Isolated Margin at 6:00 a.m. (UTC) on this day. Cross and isolated margin pairings such as AMB/USDT, CLV/USDT, STMX/USDT, and VITE/USDT will be eliminated. Binance Auto-Invest will delist the tokens after 3:00 a.m. (UTC) on February 19.
