Yuga Labs’s flagship NFT project concludes the year with a floor price of 69 ETH, or $82,740.

According to The Block’s Data Dashboard, Yuga Labs-backed NFT project Bored Ape Yacht Club (BAYC) closed the year with a floor price of about 69 ETH, or $82,740.

This year, BAYC maintained the highest floor price among all NFT projects, temporarily falling behind its sibling Yuga Labs collection CryptoPunks in November before regaining its position. In May, BAYC’s floor price peaked at 144.9 ETH, equivalent to $409,720.

Yuga Labs NFT projects secured some of 2022’s priciest sales. The Block previously revealed that eight of the twelve largest NFT transactions this year were from Yuga Labs’ CryptoPunks, BAYC, and Mutant Ape Yacht Club collections. Initially released by Larva Labs in 2017, CryptoPunks was acquired by Yuga Labs in March.

Undoubtedly, Yuga Labs had significant hurdles in 2022. On December 9, Yuga Labs was listed among dozens of other individuals and businesses in a California class action complaint over concealed celebrity endorsements.
