Chainalysis establishes its southern European, Middle Eastern, African, and Asian headquarters in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.

The blockchain intelligence platform Chainalysis has established its southern European, Middle Eastern, Central Asian, and African headquarters in Dubai. From its base in Dubai, the business plans to hire experts in Web3.0 technology, regulatory compliance, and conventional finance.

According to the press release, this decision is the result of the company’s meteoric rise in the area over the last three years, during which time it has been the go-to supplier of crypto risk solutions, Web3 growth, and crypto investigative services for both public and private organizations.

Government agencies, financial institutions, insurance and cybersecurity firms, and virtual asset service providers in more than 70 countries get data, software, services, and research from Chainalysis.

Chainalysis has been in close contact with important government officials in the UAE in an effort to support their ambitions to become a worldwide crypto center by providing advice on how to create the rules and frameworks that will sustain a robust crypto ecosystem. One aspect of this is collaborating with the UAE’s Ministry of AI, Digital Economy, and Remote Work Applications to establish a Centre of Excellence that provides training on blockchain technology to government workers. Recently, Chainalysis and Emirates NBD inked a memorandum of understanding to bolster the Digital Asset Lab initiative at the industry-leading bank.

“The government of the United Arab Emirates has been at the forefront of the cryptocurrency revolution with its forward-thinking laws and regulations.” Michael Gronager, CEO of Chainalysis, said, “We have been aggressively advancing the maturity of the region’s crypto ecosystem in step with the current advances throughout the world. The capacity to move value is where cryptocurrencies really shine, and the fact that total transfer activity is on the rise is a testament to that. The UAE is well-positioned to spearhead innovation with fresh use cases that provide real value to companies and customers, and utilization is the key to the industry’s success.”

Chainalysis is expanding its presence in other rapidly developing areas, such as those in Central Asia, Africa, and India, with the launch of its office in Dubai, United Arab Emirates.
