Several cryptocurrencies, including Ripple (XRP) and Shiba Inu (SHIB), may now be used to purchase Honda items.

When it comes to accepting payments, the Japanese automaker Honda has joined the crypto bandwagon. Coins like Shiba Inu (SHIB), a popular memecoin, and Ripple’s native currency, XRP, are supported.

To facilitate the leasing and purchase of its goods in digital currencies rather than currency, Japanese vehicle, motorbike, and power equipment maker Honda Motor Co. teamed with blockchain payment system FCF Pay.

Bitcoin (BTC) and Ether (ETH), the two biggest cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, are two of the many accepted assets.

Dogecoin (DOGE), a digital asset favored by Elon Musk, was the first of its kind to be released into the wild and has since become a top trend in the cryptocurrency industry. Despite this, it has become one of the leaders in the world, having a market worth about $8.6 billion as of right now.

This week, Shiba Inu (SHIB) gained popularity as FCF Pay partnered with Chariot Energy, a solar panel billing service in Texas, to accept SHIB as payment.

Another important statement indicated that XRP, SHIB, and other cryptocurrencies would be accepted as payment for mortgages and loans at the British banking giant HSBC for some customers.
