According to statistics from CoinMarketCap, the PIXEL Ethereum token, which is associated with the famous blockchain game Pixels, has achieved a trading volume of over $1.2 billion since its introduction on Monday morning.
Based on the more than 8,800 currencies that CoinMarketCap measures, it becomes the tenth most-traded cryptocurrency overall. That bodes well for the future of PIXEL, since it has outpaced the trading volume of many prominent cryptocurrencies in the last 24 hours.

Additionally, it has been the most actively traded gaming token today. The layer-3 gaming network’s token, XAI, which belongs to Arbitrum, is second in line and has traded for $278 million in the last 24 hours. Following its January debut, XAI hit a fresh all-time high on Sunday.
Over the same time period, no other game currency has achieved a trading volume market cap of $200 million. The third-place finisher with $150 million in trade volume over the last day is Ronin (RON), the network on which Pixels operates. Pixels surprised RON stakers over the weekend with an airdrop, awarding 20 million PIXEL tokens.
Crypto gamers have been waiting a long time for the PIXEL debut. Since switching from Polygon to Ronin last autumn, Pixels has run play-to-airdrop programs to increase engagement and award over 28,000 top players, leading to a dramatic increase in player accounts in recent months.
With a current supply of around 771 million PIXEL, the market value is $450 million, and PIXEL is up almost 15% today, reaching a price of approximately $0.58. On Monday, it hit a high of about $0.69 before settling down around 15%.
