In a recent sequence of tweets, David Schwartz, the CTO of Ripple, responded to Craig Wright’s attacks on the XRP cryptocurrency.
Schwartz said that Craig only began discussing XRP after he “demonstrated that an argument he made (that had nothing to do with XRP) was utter garbage.” The Ripple executive says that Wright was more concerned with criticising him and XRP than with finding answers to significant challenges in the cryptocurrency industry.
Wright attacked Schwartz for his supposed lack of thinking in his arguments: “Nothing in this sequence of tweets by DS is reasoned. There are several logical fallacies, including ad hominem. However, he asserts that they are rational reasons. In further tweets, he dug down on this line of attack, accusing Schwartz of promoting his agenda while avoiding “any conversation” on matters unrelated to XRP.
According to U.Today, the fight began when Schwartz called Wright’s argument about Bitcoin acceptance “stupid.” The self-proclaimed Satoshi referred to XRP as “the most ineffective pump-and-dump scam.”
More than a week has passed since the conflict between Ripple CTO David Schwartz and self-proclaimed Satoshi Craig Wright on Twitter began. These two cryptocurrency pioneers have been discussing the advantages and disadvantages of XRP and Wright’s Bitcoin alternative, BSV.
Schwartz refutes the notion that he initiated the whole incident, claiming that all he did was point out Wright’s error. “If I see an argument that I believe to be stupid, am I not expected to say so? “A Ripple executive inquired.
