According to blockchain analytics firm Nansen, six main blockchains had over a million active addresses as of March. Those who have completed a transaction are referred to as “addresses” in this context.
These are the six blockchains mentioned: BNB Chain, Solana (wallets), Ethereum, Polygon, Arbitrum, and Fantom. With 13.3 million active users, the BNB chain led the field in terms of addresses.
In March, the number of active wallets on the Solana network grew, outpacing other blockchains such as Ethereum. The number of active Solana wallets was 5.8 million, while the number of active Ethereum addresses was 5.2 million. The number of active addresses on Polygon, Arbitrum, and Fantom blockchains was 3,9 million, 2,2 million, and 1 million, correspondingly.
Nansen includes the entities contributing to the expansion of active addresses observed on the blockchains mentioned. In terms of active users, Binance and PancakeSwap dominate the BNB Chain, but Web3 social initiatives such as Space ID Protocol are also prospering.
On Solana, the protocols Raydium Protocol, Stepn, and Orca continue to attract the most users. During the same period Ethereum, zksync, and StarkWare have seen a staggering 1,322% and 805% increase in users, respectively, largely due to airdrop producers bridging to other chains.
