Charles Hoskinson, a creator of the cryptocurrency network Cardano, recently tweeted about the joke coin SNEK.

Hoskinson, the creator of Cardano, usually tweets on the ecosystem’s current happenings, but it appears the most recent meme coin fever has attracted his eye.

The Cardano community provided a wide range of reactions, including the sharing of snake GIFs. The creator of Cardano was the subject of a Twitter meme in which the user said he was “holding onto Cardano meme coin season.” When asked what they thought, several said, “Meme-coin season is upon us, and this time Cardano has delivered with SNEK.”

The “Meme coin season is full steam on Cardano too,” said another user on Twitter. After the frog-themed PEPE token skyrocketed to notoriety, bringing meme coins back into the spotlight, it briefly ranked among the top 100 cryptocurrencies by market valuation.

A recently released meme currency known as Snek (SNEK) calls itself the “chillest meme coin on Cardano.” Cardano’s ecosystem, which has fewer meme currencies than Ethereum’s, seems to be undergoing a new metamorphosis.

Since there were no low-quality meme tokens in the Cardano ecosystem, the Hosky token (HOSKY) was developed. As is to be anticipated with a meme currency, the HOSKY token has no underlying value, but the team spotted a need and set out to fill it.

Charles Hoskinson, the creator of Cardano, is thrilled about the debut of the IOG lite wallet Lace. Forgotten password support, 12- to 15-word recovery phrases, and the ability to monitor balances in several fiat currencies are just a few of the new features included in the recent update of Lace from version 1.0 to version 1.1.

Hoskinson said in a tweet, “Lace is doing really well, with monthly releases and tremendous growth. For the next iteration, we will have complete open-source and audit reports. The latest version of Cardano Node, 8.0, has been released.
