Wemix Pte. Ltd., Animoca Ventures, Spartan Group, Perlone Capital, Presto Labs, Flowdesk, Prometheuz, Lecca Ventures, Efficient Frontier, and angel investors from Stacks, Analog, and Xangle are among the investors in ZKcandy’s $4 million private round.

The business intends to utilize the money to create AI gaming agents, accelerate the growth of its Telegram-based gaming ecosystem, and establish partnerships with IP holders in order to hasten acceptance.

ZKcandy’s open TestNet launch, which it says “saw more than 2.4 million wallets created in just two weeks,” was almost finished when the funding campaign took place.

The well-known game development company iCandy is the creator of ZKcandy. Additionally, the business claims that it is the only Layer 2 chain with founding connections to a major video game studio.

Lau Kin Wai, CEO of ZKcandy, commented on the news in a blog post, saying: “We want to make Web3 gaming more accessible and open to everyone. We want to introduce popular games and other well-known IPs and provide a setting where users may have profitable, safe, and easy experiences.

As seen by the popularity of games like Notcoin, Hamster Kombat, Citizen, and X Empire, Telegram has become a major hub for well-known Web3 gaming groups.

In an effort to “turn its early momentum into a long-term success,” ZKcandy intends to broaden its network of partners in order to promote additional AAA titles and intellectual properties.
