AMC CEO Adam Aaron said a few days ago that he would directly support crypto payments. But the firm did not explain how they would serve people and accept all the popular coins to offer their services.
Today on November 16, Adam Aaron said that AMC Entertainment has requested the payment gateway provider company BitPay to accept Shiba Inu’s meme token-based payments. AMC is the largest film screening company in the US, Europe and the world. As of March 31, the company had or operated 950 theaters and 10,500 screens worldwide.
Aaron tweeted that his campaign for crypto payments will be active in the next 60-120 days. With this, AMC will be the first entertainment firm to accept payments in Shiba Inu tokens via BitPay.
It should be noted that AMC Entertainment already accepts crypto payments through their gift card system. A customer must purchase a gift card and use it to purchase AMC services. But recently, Adam said that they would accept crypto payments directly. Perhaps the whole idea is based on the Bitpay payment gateway integration in the AMC Entertainment app.
According to crypto experts, Shiba Inu seems to be the most widespread. This is because Shiba Inu Coin recently got listed on two major and well-known crypto exchanges Gemini Crypto Exchange and an Indian Crypto Exchange CoinDCX.
“Shiba Inu is the best cryptocurrency you can hold for a long term,” said the CEO of KuCoin exchange.
Shiba Inu meme coin has the potential to provide returns in the long run. KuCoin CEO said that the progress of Shiba Inu in the recent times is mainly on the side of retail investors and that they fully support the Shiba Inu community.
