On June 29th, 2023, Andrew Hayward of Decrypt revealed that the Trump family was again causing a stir in the NFT industry.

According to the Decrypt story, Melania Trump has released a new set of NFT trading cards, following in the footsteps of her husband, former U.S. President Donald Trump, who released his second set of NFT playing cards two months ago. These items in “The 1776 Collection” are digital collectables of the forthcoming Fourth of July celebration.

NFTs of the Statue of Liberty and Mount Rushmore appear on these NFTs built on the Solana blockchain. There are a total of 3,500 NFTs, and each one costs $50. There are seven different designs available. The USA Memorabilia website is where you may get these digital treasures.

While Melania Trump was the first member of the Trump family to enter the NFT market, launching her own NFT in December 2021, Donald Trump’s collection of digital trading cards garnered the most attention. Although initially unpopular, the NFTs quickly sold out and saw a significant increase in secondary market value. However, the first NFTs’ value dropped when a second collection was released.

Trump’s engagement in the NFT market has been discussed by members of the crypto community and those in the mainstream media. Since “The 1776 Collection” was only released, it’s evident that the Trump family is still investigating the possibilities of digital assets.
