According to recent reports, Bitpay will support Litecoin payment for all the merchants globally. And Newegg.com became the first company to accept Litecoin payment globally.
According to a report, Newegee.com which is a e-commerce retail website & it is focused on tech based products & services, will start to accept Litecoin as a payment option via Bitpay.
Clearly it is possible because of the support of Bitpay for Litecoin.
While Newegee.com started to accept Bitcoin in 2014 under the Partnership of Bitpay. But their Bitcoin payment option was limited to the U.S & Canada. But after huge collaborations of Newegee.com with other services, they started to accept Bitcoin payment in more than 73 countries at worldwide level.
Now Newegee.com moving his steps towards to accept Litecoin via Bitpay. The senior brand manager of this e-commerce website said that their actions are based upon the excitement & momentum around Cryptocurrency by the people who have interest in their services.
So probably Newgee.com is adopting Litecoin because they want to give a number of options to pay for their services, so that their users can have better experience with their services with alternative options.
